Welcome To Bodymind Thai Hello and thanks for stopping at my site.

I have been practicing and playing with Thai massage since I first saw it demonstrated at massage school in 1994. At first I was taken by the meditative dance, the graceful balance between movement and stillness - in addition to the effectiveness and efficiency of the therapy itself. But as I dropped deeper into it I found that there is so much more to it. Thai Massage is part of rich indigenous Medicinal Traditions that draw influence from India, Southeast Asia and China. Many of these traditions are thousands of years old.

Thai Massage is just one small piece of an amazing system of health and healing. It is an effective way to relieve chronic muscle tension, headaches, neck and back pain, sciatic nerve pain, and digestive disorders, as well as effectively reducing the mental anxiety and physical discomfort brought on by the cumulative effects of everyday stress. The results of this work often lasts for days, leaving the receiver with a general sense of calm, openness, and mental clarity, accompanied by the unique feeling of having been plugged-in and recharged - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Call me at 860.913.7500 or email me if you have any questions or would like to talk about Thai Medicine, Thai Bodywork, or Thai Yoga.

 with metta,

                  - Rick
